I'm never going to be the guy who says "watch three seasons of a show because it gets really good in the fourth season," but I'm also not going to go fuck myself just because I was rewarded with actual joy from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. over roughly three-ish of its seven seasons (if you count the better episodes of s1-3 to make up for the overall meh-ness of the final season.) Admittedly, the show did not bring as much joy as actually fucking myself, because I know just the right spots, but joy nonetheless.
